At 16hh Jess has had professional training, and was lightly started on the barrel pattern.

Jess had her first foal 2022

Her sire, First Down Mr Jess, had a speed index of 95 and tracking earnings of 180,612 and is a graded stakes winner.

Her dam is Triple Memories speed index 90 and own daughter of Leaving Memories, and grandsire Streakin Six.

We have won several amateur rodeos our first yr out as well as several jackpot moneys.

In 2015 we ended the season in 2nd place year end money earnings with Chinook Rodeo Association. That same year we earned money in the Canadian Cowboys rodeo circuit as well.

In 2016 we competed in the INFR where we had our biggest year qualifying for Vegas. Wow she had her game face on, we were 2nd in round 3, and tipped a barrel in round 2 which took us out of the short go.

In 2017 we bred Brenda to BHR Light My Fire to set her up for her future as a broodmare. With my back issues this seemed to be our best option. We ran in a few jackpots and some rodeos doing very well for me being crippled and her in foal.

Here is our pride and joy! Speed index 68 with track winnings 4535. Although she had some wins on the track it was not her favorite thing. Dr Brenda was started on barrels by Cody Hyde.

We bought Brenda as a 4 yr old. She was run in The Lucky Dog futurity by Tracey Goodman where she placed 5th against some tough competition. She then came to Alberta where she ran in the CBHI , with Randa Nugent, placing 2nd in year end points.

Dr Brenda and myself have been going strong since 2013.
